High Places

Christopher Alexander has identified a pattern, High Places [check, add pattern number], that calls for the building of high places from which people can obtain a view out over the city. These should not be inhabited buildings; their primary purpose should only be to provide this overlook.

High places can take a number of different forms, some of which are illustrated here.
