This is one of the narrowest of the canals. It is fronted on the right by fairly tall buildings that come right down to the water. On the left, however, there are probably private gardens enclosed by moderately high walls. Vegetation of one sort or another usually creeps over the tops of these walls, which helps to soften the atmosphere in these canals.
