This is the most important church in London. For centuries, its dome loomed over London, taller than all other buildings. Prince Charles has made something of a career of criticizing recent London buildings that have erased the dominance of St. Paul's on the London skyline. Office towers are now the most visible landmarks in London, and not a one of them can compete with this church on the merits.
