Snow-capped mountains always make a dramatic backdrop for a city. (Vancouver is spectacular in this regard, with high, steep mountains just across the harbor.) This is a view of the Alhambra, the old Moorish stronghold, and one of the great architectural treasures of Spain. The setting could hardly be more dramatic.
