Large Squares

In this chapter we will look at Europe's greatest living rooms - it's most wondrous large public squares.

I've classified these squares as "large," although in comparison to some squares, such as Beijing's Tiananmen Square, they're actually fairly small. They are, however, large in comparison to most other squares in their cities. (There are doubtless modern squares in these cities that are much larger, but as Alexander has pointed out, it is easy to make a square too large..)
