This is one of the bigger "small" squares - there is a good deal more of it behind the photographer. It is a lovely bit of city design - good buildings have been built around it, and the pretty church is a nice focal point. The fountain is important and strategically placed. The mountains looming above the building are an impressive sight, and one that affects city design throughout Switzerland.
