Here again we have a beautiful vista and a great skyline. I wonder what this place looks like today.
The two old side-wheelers in the foreground were probably already an anachronism when this photograph was taken - the use of screws was already common by this time. Still, these boats have an exceptional grace to them, one that we sadly see only rarely today.
