The contrast of the boats and the church spires is lovely. There is evidently a much-used urban park in the foreground. Certainly, whenever possible, parks should include a watercourse.

Notice that the photographer carefully chose a location where the tree leaves do not quite reach any of the skyline, despite considerable interpenetration. A great deal of the photography of this era is similarly artistic.
